You can unwind at some of Sri Lanka’s beautiful beaches, such as Unawatuna or Galle, where the golden sands and calm waters invite you to simply enjoy the surroundings. After breakfast, we will take you to visit the world-famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Located in Pinnawala village, 13 km northeast of Kegalle town in Sabaragamuwa Province, Sri Lanka, this institute is renowned for its captive breeding and conservation of wild Asian elephants. Pinnawala is home to the largest herd of captive elephants globally. The orphanage cares for young elephants that have fallen into pits during droughts, been displaced by development, or were found abandoned, diseased, or wounded. During your visit, you'll witness baby elephants and adults as they bathe in the river, offering a unique and heartwarming experience.

The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, or Sri Dalada Maligawa, is a significant Buddhist temple located in Kandy, Sri Lanka. Situated within the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Sri Lanka, this revered temple houses a relic believed to be a tooth of the Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played a crucial role in Sri Lankan politics, as it is believed that whoever possesses the relic has the divine right to govern the country. Historically, it was held by Sinhalese kings who used its symbolic power to legitimize their rule.

The temple is not only a place of profound religious significance but also a UNESCO World Heritage site, celebrated for both its architectural grandeur and the sacred relic it enshrines. The site attracts pilgrims and tourists alike, who come to admire its rich history and spiritual importance.

After lunch, we will take you to Kandy, a vibrant city in central Sri Lanka. Nestled on a plateau surrounded by mountains, Kandy is renowned for its scenic beauty, with lush tea plantations and biodiverse rainforests. At the heart of the city is the picturesque Kandy Lake (Bogambara Lake), a popular spot for strolls. Kandy is also famed for its sacred Buddhist sites, notably the Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa), which hosts the grand Esala Perahera annual procession.

Your first visit in Kandy will be to experience the Kandy Dancing Program. Kandyan dance is a traditional art form originating from the Central Hills region, known as Udarata. This vibrant dance reflects the rich Sinhalese culture of Sri Lanka and has spread to other parts of the country. The performance offers a captivating glimpse into the local heritage and artistic traditions, making it a memorable part of your Kandy visit.

After visiting Lion Rock, we will take you to Nuwara Eliya, a picturesque city in Sri Lanka's tea country hills. Known for its natural beauty, Nuwara Eliya is renowned for the Hakgala Botanical Gardens, where you can explore vibrant roses, tree ferns, and observe local wildlife like monkeys and blue magpies. Yala National Park, located in the southeastern region of Sri Lanka, is one of the country’s most famous wildlife reserves. Covering over 979 square kilometers, it is renowned for its diverse ecosystems, including dry forests, wetlands, and grasslands. Yala is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including leopards, elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and over 200 species of birds.
